Becky started practicing yoga almost ten years ago to balance out the stresses of graduate school.
Several years later, after moving to London, she established the foundations of her regular practice and she quickly became hooked on sweaty, power and vinyasa yoga. She completed her 200-hour teacher training under the guidance of Stewart Gilchrist. Stewart continues to be Becky’s teacher and mentor, and she is inspired to emulate his commitment to a selfless yoga practice that includes service to others “off the mat.” Her personal practice embraces many styles of yoga and her classes weave together elements Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Dharma Mittra, and Ashtanga yoga. Her classes integrate the traditional teachings of yoga into dynamic, ever-changing, and intelligent vinyasa sequences that place primacy on the steady, strong breath.
Becky also believes that yoga should be fun, and she always seeks to incorporate laughter and smiles on the mat.
